Perforin is a pore-forming protein that leads to osmotic lysis of the target cells and subsequently enables granzymes to enter the target cells and activate apoptosis. Perforin has structural and functional similarities to complement component 9 (C9). Granzyme B is a member of the granule serine protease family stored specifically in NK cells or cytotoxic T cells. Annexin A1 belongs to the annexin family. It plays a role in glucocorticoid-mediated down-regulation of the early phase of the inflammatory response. This MAb is specific to kappa light chain of immunoglobulin and shows no cross-reaction with lambda light chain or any of the five heavy chains. In mammals, the two light chains in an antibody are always identical, with only one type of light chain, kappa or lambda. The ratio of Kappa to Lambda is 70:30.
